Niels Christian Nielsen is President and CEO of Catenas (www.catenas.com), 
which he cofounded after serving on the Executive Board of the Danish 
Technological Institute DTI), a thousand employee technology consultancy 
and industrial research lab.  Niels Christian Nielsen was on the founding 
Board of 2MIinvest a/s and served as the company's Chairman from 1994 and 
until its successful IPO early year 2000. He chairs and has participated on 
the board of several firms, currently including Catenas, KaosManagement, 
Hoffman Bang, Ireco ab (Sweden), SICS (Sweden) and RTS (North Carolina, 
USA). He has also just joined the Board of Codan A/S, the Scandinavian arm 
of Sun Alliance Insurance and the Board of Jyllands Posten, Denmark's 
biggest newspaper. Concerned with competitiveness, innovation and 
education, he has been on numerous government committees including the 
Board of the Learning Lab, and is one of the five "Wise Men" on the 
National Competency Council of Denmark.
