Events in 2010

BRIE hosts the “Pathways Project Inaugural Forum” at the Claremont hotel on November 17, 2010.

The Forum introduced the Pathways project (now part of CREST) aimed at developing novel strategies for technology innovation, sustainable growth, and job creation to enable the transformation of the global energy system from a high-carbon, low efficiency system to a low-carbon high efficiency system. The event engaged key stakeholders in technology, policy, economics, and law from across Bay Area to participate in a roundtable discussion. The discussion focused the three key pillars necessary for the global transformation to a low carbon economy: Carbon Roadmaps, New Partnership Models, and Green Growth Strategies.
